Zusammenfassung:Processes for preparing aromatic carboxylic acids. Cinnamaldehyde is hydrogenated to produce a mixture of hydrogenation products, namely hydrocinnamaldehyde and hydrocinnamic alcohol. The mixture is then oxidized using a suitable oxidizing agent to substantially completely convert both hydrocinnamaldehyde and hydrocinnamic alcohol to hydrocinnamic acid. Ces procédés de préparation de l'acide hydrocinnamique comprennent les étapes consistant à hydrogéner du cinnamaldéhyde, afin d'obtenir un mélange de produits d'hydrogénation, notamment de l'hydrocinnamaldéhyde et de l'alcool hydrocinnamique, puis à oxyder ce mélange en utilisant un agent d'oxydation approprié, afin de convertir presque complètement à la fois l'hydrocinnamaldéhyde et l'alcool hydrocinnamique en acide hydrocinnamique.
