L'invention concerne un procédé de production à fort rendement de statines semi-synthétiques, comme par exemple la simvastatine, à partir d'une autre statine, de préférence une statine naturelle, comme par exemple la lovastatine. L'invention concerne également un certain nombre de nouveaux composés intermédiaires, préparés au cours de ce procédé.
