Zusammenfassung: | The process disclosed consists in the enamel and dentin of the tooth being treated with radiation from a train of laser beam pulses, of the wavelength range (0.3 mu m DIVIDED 1.3 mu m) U (1.6 mu m DIVIDED 2.8 mu m) U (3.2 mu m DIVIDED 9.6 mu m), in free-running mode. The duration of treatment with the train of pulses does not exceed 100 seconds; no more than 10 trains are used. The interval between each train is less than 1 second, and the radiant energy density on the tooth during treatment varies according to the radiation wavelength, but does not exceed 2000 J/cm . Light-dispensing devices (6) are introduced into the apparatus serving to perform this process, ensuring the necessary distribution of radiation onto the tooth surface, as well as the protection from irradiation of the tissue of the mouth cavity not requiring treatment. |
