Such felts offer advantages in strength, stability and special effects in comparison with known felts which comprise animal hair and viscose rayon fibre. L'invention concerne un feutre comprimé comprenant entre 10 et 50 % en poids de poils d'un animal, et entre 20 et 90 % en poids de fibres discontinues lyocellulaires. Le reste du feutre comprimé, s'il en est, est constitué d'autres types de fibres. Ces feutres offrent les avantages suivants: résistance, stabilité et effets spéciaux comparés aux feutres connus comprenant des poils d'animaux et des fibres de viscose rayonne.
