Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé et à un circuit de détection de décrochage sur une ligne téléphonique (163). Dans un mode préféré, ce procédé consiste à couper l'alimentation de l'interface de la ligne d'abonné (412), à détecter le décrochage (410), à produire un signal de sortie (412), et à réagir à ce signal de sortie.
