Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to a substation designed to supply electrical power to a consumption basin. The unit comprises a high-voltage component divided into cubicles and containing incomer connection equipment connected by supply lines to a power source whose voltage ranges from 60 kV to 245 kV. It likewise comprises a transformer compartment containing at least one transformer connected to the incomer connection equipment and a medium-voltage component containing output connection equipment connected to the transformer(s) and linked by output lines to the consumption basin in order to supply it with electrical power at a voltage not exceeding 36 kV. Finally, the substation comprises a control room. The high- and medium-voltage components, the transformer compartment and the control room are all located in a single, roofed building in which the high-voltage component equipment, the transformer(s) and the medium-voltage component equipment are situated on the same level. The substation incorporates an access way forming an integral part of the building complex. This access way is designed to facilitate direct access at the same level to the cubicles in the high-voltage component, the transformer compartment and the medium-voltage component. Finally, the roof of the building above the transformer compartment is provided with slots enabling it to be opened and closed at will to facilitate the cooling of the transformer(s) or the recapture of the heat generated by them whenever necessary. A useful feature is that the output connection equipment for the medium-voltage component is self-raising without disconnecting switches, with a system of permutation by draw-out circuit breaker. This unit is extremely compact, easy to maintain and soundproofed. Thanks to an oil retention system, it is non-polluting and is therefore especially well suited to use in urban settings, while offering unlimited possibilities for architectural adaptation.
