Zusammenfassung:	Novel benzotriazoles (BZT) compounds are disclosed which are useful as high temperature stable monomeric benzotriazoles, polymerizable benzotriazoles, and polymers containing the benzotriazole functionality useful as ultraviolet light stabilizers, metal chelaters. Products of the present invention are derivatives of 4-hydroxyacetophenone benzotriazole (4-HAP-BZT), and 4-hydroxyphenylmethyl carbinol benzotriazole (4-HPMC-BZT). L'invention porte sur de nouveaux composés benzotriazoliques stables à haute température; il sagit de benzotriazoles monomères, de benzotriazoles polymérisables, et de polymères présentant la fonction benzotriazole pouvant servir de stabilisateurs de rayonnement ultraviolet et de chélateurs pour métaux. Les produits objets de l'invention sont des dérivés du 4-hydroxyacétophénone benzotriazole (4-HAP-BZT), et du 4-hydroxyphénylméthyl carbinol benzotriazole (4-HPMC-BZT).
