L'invention concerne un mélange de polycarbonate, de polyéthylène chloré et éventuellement d'autres polymères, qui présente des propriétés de résistance au chocs et à l'allumage qui s'équilibrent. Les autres polymères comprennent de l'ABS et de la résine époxy bromée. Le polyéthylène chloré peut être greffé avec un monomère insaturé.
