Zusammenfassung:	The synthesis of a new compound is disclosed, namely, a ketopantoyl amino butyrate of formula (I) and salts thereof. The compounds are obtained by allowing ketopantolactone to react with a salt of gamma -aminobutyric acid. It has been shown that the new compounds have sedative, anti-amnesiac and anti-hypoxic properties. L'invention concerne la synthèse d'un nouveau composé, le cétopantoyle amino butyrate de la formule (I), ainsi que ces sels. On obtient les composés en faisant réagir une cétopantolactone avec un sel d'acide gamma -aminobutyrique. On a démontré que les nouveaux composés présentent des propriétés sédatives, anti-amnésiques et anti-hypoxiques.
