The polyester shows a molecular weight between 3000-10000. L'invention concerne un collecteur qui est destiné à être utilisé dans le désencrage de papiers de rebut selon le procédé de flottation. Le collecteur comprend un polyester obtenu par réaction entre le polyalkylène-glycol, l'acide di et/ou tricarboxylique, et/ou des anhydrides de celui-ci, ainsi qu'un acide gras saturé possédant 12 à 18 atomes de carbone. Le polyester présente une masse moléculaire comprise entre 3 000 et 10 000.
