Zusammenfassung:	A cam operated clamp (10) having a housing (11, 51) which changes its effective diameter due to the rotation of a cam (40) includes a stop (33, 55, 60) for stopping cam rotation when the clamp (10) is tightened. The cam pin (40) has a stop lug (45, 49) formed on one end, which abuts with a stop tab (33, 55, 60) formed on a cam journal (27, 29, 63, 64, 65, 66, 76, 78, 82, 84). When the stop lug (48, 49) abuts with the stop tab (33, 55, 60) as the cam (40) is rotated in a first direction, the clamp is in a maximum clamping position and cannot be rotated beyond the tightened position to a position wherein the clamp is loosened. Bride de serrage (10) fonctionnant à l'aide d'une came et possédant un boîtier (11, 51) modifiant son diamètre effectif sous l'effet de la rotation d'une came (40); la bride de serrage comprend une butée (33, 55, 60) servant à arrêter la rotation de la came quand ladite bride (10) est serrée. Le doigt de came (40) comprend une oreille de butée (45, 49) située à une extrémité et venant en butée contre une patte de butée (33, 55, 60) située sur un palier de came (27, 29, 63, 64, 65, 66, 76, 78, 82, 84). Quand l'oreille de butée (48, 49) vient en butée contre la patte de butée (33, 53, 60) simultanément à la rotation de la came (40) dans un premier sens, la bride de serrage se trouve en position de serrage maximum et ne peut pas être tournée au-delà de la position de serrage vers une position de desserrage.
