Zusammenfassung:	Low bromine vapor pressure compositions are disclosed which contain perhalides of formula (I) in which R1 and R2 are independently hydrogen, hydroxyethyl, alkyl, cycloalkyl, (alpha, omega)-alkyl, alkyl ether, polyether, polyoxyalkylene, heterocyclic ring-substituted alkyl, and halogenated alkyl; X is chlorine, bromine or iodine; and at most one of R1 and R2 is hydrogen; and a solvent comprising a water soluble, bromine stable, organic solvent. The solvent may optionally include water. L'invention se rapporte à des compositions à basse pression de vapeur de brome qui contiennent des perhalogénures de la formule (I) dans laquelle R1 et R2 représentent indépendamment hydrogène, hydroxyéthyle, alkyle, cycloalkyle, (alpha, omega)-alkyle, alkyle éther, polyéther, polyoxyalkylène, alkyle substitué par un cycle hétérocyclique, et alkyle halogéné; X représente chlore, brome ou iode; et R1 ou R2 représente hydrogène; et un solvant comprenant un solvant organique, résistant au brome, soluble dans l'eau.
