Un dispositif à cylindre et piston annulaires comprend un cylindre annulaire et un piston destiné à celui-ci, le piston comprenant des parties de parois latérales qui se prolongent dans le cylindre vers la base de celui-ci, ces parties latérales se présentant sous forme de nervures annulaires à rétrécissement qui définissent ensemble un évidement de section transversale asymétrique.
