Zusammenfassung:	The proposal concerns a method of composing messages for data-exchange purposes and/or for the synchronization of processes in data-exchange systems. The message comprises at least elements pertaining to the start (start bit, SOF), identification (subsequently referred to as the identifiers) and data. A bit field containing at least one bit (ID field, ID bit) is included to designate the length of the identifier. Un procédé permet de constituer des messages pour l'échange de données et/ou pour la synchronisation de processus dans des installations de traitement de données. Chaque message contient au moins des éléments relatifs au commencement du message (start-bit, SOF), à l'identification (appelés identificateurs) et des données. Un champ de bits (champ IDE, bit IDE) ayant au moins un bit sert à caractériser la longueur de l'identificateur.
