The present invention also relates to a method for fingerprinting the functional domain of a polypeptide or protein. La présente invention se rapporte à des peptides analogues à la Molécule-1 d'Adhésion Intercellulaire, à des analogues et à des anticorps de ces peptides, ainsi qu'à des compositions pharmaceutiques comprenant ces peptides et leur utilisation pour inhiber ou réduire l'adhésion des cellules chez les mammifères.
