Zusammenfassung:	Polyclonal catalytic antibodies are provided. Polyclonal antibodies that are capable of catalyzing the hydrolsis of a carbonate are also provided. Preferred polyclonal catalytic antibodies are raised against a phosphate of general formula (I), wherein each of R and R' represents a radical which together confer immunogenicity on the phosphate of general formula (I). In addition, phosphates and precursor phosphates against which antiphosphate antibodies capable of catalyzing the hydrolysis of a carbonate can be raised are provided. On prévoit des anticorps catalytiques polyclonaux, ainsi que des anticorps pouvant catalyser l'hydrolyse d'un carbonate. Des anticorps catalytiques polyclonaux préférés sont dressés contre un phosphate de la formule générale (I) où R et R' représentent chacun un radical conférant ensemble une immunogénicité au phosphate de la formule générale (I).
