Un vaccin de prophylaxie et de traitement de la teigne tondante microscopique provoquée par le microsporum canis pathogène, se compose d'une suspension de teigne tondante microscopique de microsporum canis de souche immunogène, dans une solution de 0,9 % de chlorure de sodium, d'une quantité de 20 à 50 m (million) de microconidies pour 1 ml de ladite solution, comprenant non moins de 15 m/ml de microconidies formant des colonies.
