A rotary generator known per se is advantageously used as the pulse generator and the hydraulic engine can be a hydraulic cylinder (2-5) or a rotary engine. Un système d'entraînement hydraulique à impulsions comprend un générateur d'impulsions (12), un entraînement (13), un moteur hydraulique (2-5) et des lignes de connexion (15-18) réunis en un seul module. On utilise avec avantage en tant que générateur d'impulsions un générateur rotatif en soi connu, et le moteur hydraulique peut être un cylindre hydraulique (2-5) ou un moteur rotatif.
