Zusammenfassung:	A device implementing a method for making a brass-plated lengthy article comprises a bath (3) with molten inorganic salts in which the surface of the workpiece (1) is degreased and pickled. Then after deposition on the surface of the workpiece (1) of a layer of copper it is covered with a layer of zinc in a unit (8) for electrolytic coating after which a thermodiffusion and tempering treatment of the workpiece (1) is carried out in a bath (11) with molten salts. Un dispositif permettant la mise en oeuvre d'un procede de fabrication d'articles allonges a base de cuivre comprend un bain (3) de sels inorganiques en fusion dans lequel la surface de la piece a traiter (1) est degraissee et decapee. Apres depot d'une couche de cuivre sur la surface de la piece a traiter (1), celle-ci est recouverte d'une couche de zinc dans une unite (8) de revetement electrolytique. Un traitement de thermodiffusion et de trempe de la piece a traiter (1) est ensuite execute dans un bain (11) contenant des sels en fusion.
