METHOD OF MAINTAINING PRESET PARAMETERS OF DRILLING MUD

A method of maintaining preset parameters of the drilling mud fed into the borehole during the drilling process consisting in continuously measuring the redox-potential values of the drilling mud fed into the borehole and outcoming therefrom, comparing those values and registering the change of the redox-potential value. In case of a change of the content of oxidation products in the drilling mud outcoming from the borehole the drilling mud fed into the borehole is subjected to a unipolar treatment so that the content of the products of reducing reactions therein is increased until the preset value of the redox-potential of the drilling mud outcoming from the borehole is restored, whereas, in case of a change of the content of reduction products in the drilling mud outcoming from the borehole the drilling mud fed into the borehole is subjected to a unipolar treatment so that the content of the products of oxidation reactions therein is increased until the preset value of the redox-potential of the drilling mud outcoming from the borehole is restored. Un procede de maintien des parametres preetablis d'une boue de forage que l'on injecte dans le trou de forage pendant le forage consiste a mesurer de maniere continue les valeurs du potentiel redox de la boue de forage injectee dans le trou de forage et qui en sort, a comparer ces valeurs et a enregistrer les changements de la valeur du potentiel redox. En cas de changement de la teneur en produit d'oxydation dans la boue de forage sortant du trou de forage, la boue de forage injectee dans le trou de forage est soumise a un traitement unipolaire de sorte que la teneur des produits de reaction de reduction soit augmentee jusqu'a ce que la valeur predeterminee du potentiel redox de la boue de forage sortant du trou de forage soit retablie.
