Disclosed in embodiments of the present application are an optical image stabilization device and an optical image stabilization method. The optical image stabilization device may comprise a motor driver and an image sensor physically connected to the motor driver; the image sensor is used for reporting the working state of the image sensor to the motor driver; the working state comprises one or more of an exposure state, a read state, and an inter-frame idle state; the motor driver is used for monitoring the working state of the image sensor and adjusting the driving state of the motor driver to a target driving state on the basis of the working state; and the driving state comprises a driving mode and a driving frequency. The present application can improve the imaging quality and reduce the power consumption.
