The pickup unit comprises a deformable shaft that is elongated in a longitudinal axis and that has an outer surface with a flat portion. At least one diffraction grating is formed in or arranged in the flat portion of the outer surface. Selon un aspect de la présente divulgation, une unité de capture est fournie pour un appareil de saisie et de placement.
