La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un milieu moussant aqueux, tel qu'un flux de traitement d'une usine de pâte et papier, le procédé comprenant la mise en contact du flux de traitement aqueux avec un agent antimousse comprenant : a) au moins un alcool de Guerbet en C12 à C40; et/ou b) au moins un ester de polyol.
