Zusammenfassung:A method for synthesizing a plant root inhibitor, which method comprises: subjecting methyl S-lactate, which serves as a raw material, and n-caprylic alcohol to ester exchange under the action of a catalyst to generate n-octyl S-lactate, and removing surplus n-caprylic alcohol; subjecting same and methylsulfonyl chloride to esterification; and finally, subjecting same and p-chloro-o-cresol potassium salt to etherification, so as to synthesize the plant root inhibitor. The present synthetic route is simple and convenient in terms of method and simple in terms of posttreatment, produces a small amount of three wastes, and has high yield, low cost, and good practicability, economical efficiency and production and use prospects.
