Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to the technical field of liquid crystal display, in particular to a liquid crystal composition with a negative dielectric constant and the use thereof. The liquid crystal composition at least comprises one or more compounds as represented by general formula (I), general formula (II) and general formula III, wherein in general formula (I), R1 and R2 each independently represents an alkyl group having 1-7 carbon atoms or an alkenyl group having 2-7 carbon atoms; in general formula (II), R3 and R4 each independently represents an alkyl group having 1-7 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1-7 carbon atoms, or an alkenyl group having 2-7 carbon atoms; and in general formula III, R5 and R6 each independently represents an alkyl group having 1-7 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1-7 carbon atoms, or an alkenyl group having 2-7 carbon atoms, and formula (IV) represents one of (V) or (VI).
