The present application provides a call method and an electronic device. The method comprises: in response to a received user operation, an electronic device displays a label operation block in an application interface, and calls a specified function of another electronic device; in the process of calling another electronic device, the electronic device can change the label operation block on the basis of the received user operation and call another specified function of another electronic device, and can acquire an insertion object which is acquired by another electronic device on the basis of another function; and the electronic device can display the insertion object at the position of the label operation block.
