Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to methods for inducing an immune response in a subject, the method comprising administering orally to the subject an immunogenic composition comprising non-replicating virus antigen. In one example, an immunogenic composition is administered via the oral route to a pig, wherein the immunogenic composition comprises a recombinant virus capsid protein capable of forming a virus-like particle. This allows to simply induce an immune response in the pigs, while simultaneously reducing the propensity for adverse reactions, eliminating the risk of injection site reactions, avoiding pain, and putting less stress on the animals. La présente invention concerne des procédés pour induire une réponse immunitaire chez un sujet, le procédé comprenant l'administration par voie orale au sujet d'une composition immunogène comprenant un antigène de virus non réplicatif. Dans un exemple, une composition immunogène est administrée par voie orale à un porc, la composition immunogène comprenant une protéine de capside de virus recombinant capable de former une particule de type virus. Ceci permet d'induire simplement une réponse immunitaire chez les porcs, tout en réduisant simultanément la propension à des réactions indésirables, en éliminant le risque de réactions au site d'injection, en évitant la douleur et en stressant moins les animaux.
