The present application provides an electronic atomization device, a power supply mechanism, and a control method. The electronic atomization device comprises: an atomizer; the power supply mechanism comprising a receiving cavity used for receiving the atomizer and battery cells; a sensing element used for sensing an attribute feature or signal derived from an external indicating element; and a circuit configured to change the configuration of the power supply mechanism between a first mode and a second mode on the basis of a sensing result of the sensing element. The power supply mechanism prevents the battery cells from supplying power to the atomizer in the first mode, and allows the battery cells to provide power for the atomizer in the second mode; and the arrangement position of the sensing element in the power supply mechanism is distant from the receiving cavity.
