Preparation of the solid [(4-hydroxy-1-methyl-7-phenoxyisoquinoline-3-carbonyl)amino] acetic acid of the particular particle size distribution, and use of same for the treatment of anemia is also described. La présente demande concerne un acide [(4-hydroxy-1-méthyl-7-phénoxyisoquinoline-3-carbonyl)amino] acétique solide possédant une distribution granulométrique unimodale de D90 d'environ 21 µm à 29 µm; un D50 d'environ 12 µm à 17 µm; et un D10 d'environ 6 µm à 10 µm, et des compositions pharmaceutiques de celui-ci.
