Zusammenfassung: | The present application relates to a spinel-type lithium manganate, a preparation method thereof, a lithium-ion battery, and an electrical apparatus. The spinel-type lithium manganate consists in spherical single crystal particles having an equivalent circle diameter deviation parameter A, where 0.75≤A≤1; the equivalent circle diameter deviation parameter is calculated by taking an equivalent-area circle diameter DA of the single crystal particles of the spinel-type lithium manganate divided by a maximum diameter DB. The lithium manganate single crystals of the present application have a smaller (111) crystal surface area, which can inhibit an Mn(III) disproportionation reaction, resulting in a battery having better high-temperature storage and cycle performance.
