Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an electric compressor that may comprise: a motor; a compression mechanism which is driven by the motor and compresses a refrigerant; an inverter which controls the motor; and a plurality of pins which electrically connect the motor and the inverter to each other, wherein: the inverter includes a printed circuit board on which a switching element is mounted; the printed circuit board includes a plurality of pin holes into which the plurality of pins are inserted; the switching element is formed as an intelligent power module having a plurality of motor connection terminals electrically connected to the plurality of pin holes respectively; the intelligent power module is arranged such that the plurality of motor connection terminals face toward the plurality of pin holes; and the plurality of pin holes and the plurality of motor connection terminals are electrically connected to each other by a motor connection pattern of the printed circuit board.
