POWER HEADROOM TRIGGERING AND REPORTING FOR UPLINK POLARIZATION-BASED OPERATION

A WTRU and a method for power headroom triggering and reporting for uplink polarization-based operation are provided. A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) sends a power capability. The power capability is associated with one or more antenna ports or antenna port groups. The WTRU determines that a condition is satisfied. The condition includes one or more of the power capability of the WTRU changing or a serving panel of the WTRU changing. The WTRU sends a power headroom report (PHR) based the condition being satisfied. The PHR indicates a maximum power associated with a first polarization type and a maximum power associated with a second polarization type.
