Zusammenfassung: | A low dropout regulator (LDO) with over-current protection, and a chip and an electronic device. The LDO comprises an LDO main circuit (100), a high-precision current sampling circuit (200), and an over-current protection control loop (300), wherein an output end of the LDO main circuit (100) is connected to an input end of the high-precision current sampling circuit (200), an output end of the high-precision current sampling circuit (200) is connected to an input end of the over-current protection control loop (300), and an output end of the over-current protection control loop (300) is connected to both the LDO main circuit (100) and the high-precision current sampling circuit (200), so as to form a closed control loop. When the current of a load exceeds a current-limiting value, the LDO can effectively protect a power tube (MP0) of the LDO main circuit (100) and the load, and a hard shutoff phenomenon of a system may not occur.
