Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of terminals, and provide a resource scheduling method and an electronic device, capable of dynamically adjusting, by taking threads comprised in each application as the granularity, resources allocated by an electronic device to applications. In the method, by setting the level of each first thread corresponding to a first application and setting a scheduling parameter corresponding to each level, resources can be allocated to the first threads by taking the first threads comprised in the first application as the granularity. When the running state of the first application changes, the level of the first threads in the running state can be kept unchanged, and the scheduling parameter corresponding to each level is adjusted, so that the resources to be allocated to the first threads are added or reduced in different manners.
