INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND PRODUCT SHIPPING SYSTEM

An information processing system comprising: an acceptance unit which, when shipping a product produced by a shipper including a vegetable factory to a shipment recipient, accepts shipment-confirmed information that represents confirmed information regarding product shipment and purchase application information that represents an application for the purchase of product by the shipment recipient; and a processing unit that performs, on the basis of a predetermined optimization criterion, sale-and-purchase matching to have shipment-confirmed information and purchase application information matched, in order of priority, so as to determine the shipment recipient of product. Thus, when a vegetable factory is included as the shipper, it is possible to improve the facility operating rate of the vegetable factory and reduce product disposal.
