A processor in a data processing unit can send to a programmable logic device a data input/output (I/O) request for a memory in a physical machine, and the programmable logic device can perform data transmission between the memory in the physical machine and a designated storage server; additionally, the programmable logic device can also take on the I/O condition validation work that was originally required to be performed by the processor. In this way, in the data processing unit, data migration does not need to be carried out between the programmable logic device and the processor any more, and data transmission and related validation work are directly completed by the programmable logic device, so that transmission delay in the data processing unit can be effectively reduced, and the network bandwidth supported by the data processing unit is no longer limited by the bus bandwidth between the
