The present application provides a cloud technology-based detection method and a cloud management platform. The method comprises that: in response to detection task related information input by a user, a cloud management platform sends a detection task to a first detection node, so as to instruct the first detection node to detect a state of a target object; and the cloud management platform receives a detection result corresponding to the detection task and sent by a second detection node, wherein the detection task of the second detection node is sent to the second detection node after the first detection node fails to execute the detection task.
