METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANAGING COMMUNICATION DELAY IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method by a first user equipment (UE) managing communication delay in a communication system is provided. The method includes receiving, from a server, scheduling information for generating communication delay information upon transmitting media to a second UE, measuring a communication delay with the first UE and the second UE based on the scheduling information, generating the communication delay information based on the measured communication delay, and transmitting, to the server, the communication delay information.
