The processing method for an Ethernet device is applied to the Ethernet system. The Ethernet system comprises a first device and a second device, wherein the first device performs data communication with the second device by means of an Ethernet technique, the first device comprises a first medium access control chip and a first physical layer chip, and the first physical layer chip comprises a first physical coding sublayer (PCS) and a first physical medium attachment sublayer (PMA).
