Zusammenfassung:	Provided are a display panel and a display apparatus. The display panel comprises a first substrate (01) and a second substrate (02) which are arranged opposite to each other. The first substrate (01) comprises a substrate (011), and, located on one side of the substrate (011), first signal lines (012), second signal lines (013), and sub-pixels (P1) having pixel electrodes (P10). The second substrate (02) comprises a substrate (021) and a light-shielding layer (022) located on one side of the substrate (021). The pixel electrodes (P10), the second signal lines (013) and the light-shielding layer (022) each have at least two main body portions, and a corner portion connecting two adjacent main body portions. The light-shielding layer covers the first signal lines (012) and the second signal lines (013), and further the area of the corner portion of each second signal line (013) is smaller than the area of the corner portion of the light-shielding layer (022), and the orthographic projection of the corner porti
