L'invention concerne un procédé pour améliorer la transparence de substrats, en particulier des papiers ayant un degré de translucidité, à l'aide de revêtements à base d'eau comprenant des résines de polysaccharide. L'invention concerne également un procédé de thermoscellage desdits substrats à l'aide desdites résines polysaccharidiques.
