SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING MULTIPLE SURGICAL CONSOLES WITH MULTIPLE CONTROL DEVICES

A surgical system including a first console device including a first control device connection port and a first instrument connection port, a first surgical instrument physically connected to the first instrument connection port, a first control device physically connected to the first console device via the first instrument connection port, a second console device including a second control device connection port and a second instrument connection port, a second surgical instrument physically connected to the second instrument connection port; and a second control device physically connected to the second console device via the second control device connection port. The first control device is configured to receive a first user input and generate an input signal. The second control device is configured to receive a second user input and generate a second input signal. The surgical system is configured to control the first surgical instrument based on the second input signal.
