Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a method for extracting lithium from a cathode material in waste lithium ions, using a neutral aqueous solution, and a method for selectively extracting lithium from a cathode material in waste lithium ions, using carbonated water and, more specifically, to a method for extracting lithium from a cathode material in waste lithium ions, using a neutral aqueous solution, which is a method for extracting lithium from a cathode material of a waste lithium-ion battery, the method comprising: a step of pulverizing the cathode material of a waste lithium-ion battery; a step of preparing a neutral aqueous solution and mixing the pulverized cathode material with the neutral aqueous solution; and a step in which lithium ions extracted from the neutral aqueous solution are generated.
