Zusammenfassung:	Some embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of video processing, and provide a scene description file generation method and device. The method comprises: determining the type of a media file in a three-dimensional scene to be rendered; and when the type of a target media file in said three-dimensional scene is a geometry-based point cloud compression (G-PCC) coding point cloud, generating, according to description information of the target media file, a target description module corresponding to the target media file; and adding the target media description module into a media list of an MPEG media of a scene description file of said three-dimensional scene.
