Zusammenfassung: | A grading method for a catalyst and a production method for a base oil, comprising a catalytic reaction unit and a protective agent unit located in front of the catalytic reaction unit in a material flowing direction. In the catalytic reaction unit, the total amount of acid in the catalyst increases and then decreases in the material flowing direction; the molar ratio of the content of acid in the catalyst increases and then decreases. The catalytic reaction unit sequentially comprises a first catalyst layer and a second catalyst layer which are adjacent to each other. In the first catalyst layer, the content of weak acid is greater than that of medium strong acid; in the second catalyst layer, the content of weak acid is less than that of medium strong acid. In the protective agent unit, the content of active metal in a protective agent increases or remains unchanged; the pore volume of the protective agent is reduced, and the specific surface area of the protective agent is increased.
