BLOCKING DEVICE

This blocking device comprises: a housing; a pusher that is located inside the housing and has a recessed portion; an igniter that internally holds a powder, has a lid portion provided between the powder and the pusher, is disposed in the recessed portion, and generates a gas; a protection portion that is provided in the housing or the igniter and is located inside the recessed portion; and a conducting body that has a separation portion located below the pusher. When receiving the pressure of the gas generated by the igniter, the pusher moves the separation portion downward. The lid portion has an opening portion that is configured so as to open by receiving the pressure of the gas. The lower end of the protection portion is located downward from the lower end of the lid portion.
