The method comprises: when it is determined that a bounding volume of a target body part of a first avatar is in contact with a bounding volume of a target body part of a second avatar, controlling invisibility of the first avatar and/or the second avatar, each of the first avatar and the second avatar being provided with bounding volumes of a plurality of body parts. When the bounding volumes of the target body parts of the two avatars are in contact, invisibility is performed on the avatars, and triggering invisibility on the basis of the contact of the bounding volumes of the body parts allows for accurate identification of sensitive body behaviors, and avoids performing invisibility with respect to some insensitive body behaviors, thereby improving user experience.
