METHOD USED FOR AUGMENTED REALITY, APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM

Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method used for augmented reality (AR), an apparatus, a device, and a computer-readable storage medium. In the method, a target gesture made by a user is detected, fingers of the user having a predetermined shape in the target gesture; in response to detecting the target gesture, a virtual image is presented in an AR environment, at least one part of the virtual image matching the predetermined shape in appearance; and in response to detecting a change in the target gesture, an action of the virtual image in the AR environment is controlled at least on the basis of the change. In this way, it is possible to enhance the AR effect of a virtual image.
