The method is executed by a disaster recovery system of the database, the disaster recovery system comprising a first cluster and a second cluster. The method comprises: a first cluster creating a consistency group, wherein the consistency group relates to a plurality of storage volumes for ensuring consistency, and the plurality of storage volumes comprise storage volumes of nodes in the first cluster and storage volumes of nodes in a second cluster; after the second cluster successfully creates a consistency group, the first cluster configuring a disaster recovery relationship according to the addresses of the nodes in the second cluster, and correspondingly, the second cluster configuring the disaster recovery relationship according to the addresses of the nodes in the first cluster; and synchronizing a log of the first cluster to the storage volumes of the nodes in the second cluster according to the disaster recovery relati
