The liquid crystal handwriting board comprises: a first substrate (100), a second substrate (200), and a bistable liquid crystal layer (300) located between the first substrate (100) and the second substrate (200). The first substrate (100) comprises: a plurality of first signal line groups, each first signal line group comprising at least two first signal lines; a plurality of second signal lines, the first signal lines and the second signal lines intersect each other; and a control electrode (1) located in an area defined by two adjacent first signal lines and two adjacent second signal lines. The first signal lines and the second signal lines are configured to jointly provide a control signal to the control electrode. The first signal lines in each first signal line group are electrically connected to each other.
